Minoa Water won three gold awards in the categories of Top Manufacturing Export Company, Top Export Product, and Top Export Packaging at the Greek Export Awards held on April 26, under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso.
These awards confirm the already successful international trajectory of Waterfresh S.A., which now generates over 40% of its annual revenue from international markets. Manolis Tsaldaris, president of Waterfresh S.A., is the pioneer and driving force behind this business venture. The three gold distinctions recognize the company’s commitment to quality and innovation, achieved through persistent effort and the pursuit of the highest industry standards.
The new packaging, which earned the Top Export Packaging award, further highlights Minoa Water’s dedication to environmental sustainability. All Minoa Water packages are inspired by Japanese design, symbolizing the water and life cycles. The company has placed significant emphasis on sustainable development by investing in eco-friendly design and materials. It introduced to the market the first Greek water packaged in recyclable, plant-based paper cartons, using spring water sourced from Zervochori in Imathia. Its high content of calcium and magnesium, combined with the absence of heavy metals and synthetic pesticides, makes the product truly unique.
Yet, the company is not stopping here. It continues its growth by exporting to 16 countries, with recent market entries in Canada and Hong Kong. This success is a result of consumer trust and proves that Minoa Water is more than just a product — it is living proof that quality, innovation, and a love for the environment can lead to the top.
